Founder & Head CoachComing from a sporting background, playing both football and basketball competitively for a number of years, I found my passion for fitness once I turned 20; I went through my own journey of change and breaking bad habits. I put my health first and decided to turn that into helping others achieve their goals. Since then I have been involved with group training and personal training - helping my clients achieve their goals; from weight loss to toning, mobility and sports specific training.
My passion is seeing people achieve things they never thought they could do, and my mission in fitness, is helping to lead a functional life, for everyone.

CoachMy journey in health & fitness began in 2014 as a crossfit coach. Throughout the years that followed I developed my passion through FMA strength coaching, pre & post natal studies & female specific sports coaching. I spent 7 years in the fitness industry in all facets until leaving in 2020 to become a spiritual & mindset coach. Returning to Persist Fitness, I desires to be apart of the team atmosphere that has been created here allowing you to step into the best version of you physically & mentally. I am a firm believer moving the body & the mind for longevity & optimal living ! That slow grind definitely fits the motto!

CoachI began training in 2018 and soon fell in love with the way it made me feel physically and the clarity it brought me mentally. Like many other trainers, that passion for training inspired me to become a trainer myself and I completed my competencies in Cert III and graduated with a Cert IV in Personal Training from the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers in 2020.
I commenced as a Coach at Persist Fitness in January 2021 and I have loved working with members and watching them transform themselves, gain confidence, learn new skills and get strong. Josh has created a culture of community, good vibes and mateship at Persist and I love being part of that team.

Head ProgrammerMy passion for fitness began in 2017 when I started going to the gym and getting into running. After a few years of exercising, I quickly realised that the mental benefits to exercise were so much greater than the physical benefits.
Once you flick your mindset from training for the physical benefits compared to training for your mental health, you will see such a difference in the person you are and your view of yourself, and the benefits that exercise can add to your day and your lifestyle.
My goal as a trainer is to encourage and support our clients to train to the best of their ability on the day. I want our clients to realise the importance of showing up even when they don’t have any motivation, and then recognising how proud of themselves they feel and how great they feel after they have completed a session.
I want our community to remember their why for exercise, and remember their own goals they have for themselves. We can all appreciate that not everyday do we feel like pushing to perform to our best, but I believe it is about pushing to do our best on that specific day, and further bettering yourself everyday, whether it be adding one more rep to an exercise, lifting one heavier weight for a set, or working for a longer time period before rest. I want each of our clients to realise the mental benefits of exercise, and be proud of themselves for showing up to class and becoming the best version of themselves that they can be.
